The Furl-Kit, a retrofit kit that can easily be installed to your solar panel array, will monitor wind conditions at your array and automatically furl the unit to a flat position, reducing wind resistance and the probability of damage and stress from high winds. Once the damaging winds subside for an hour, the array will be returned to its normal position, automatically tracking the sun. With multiple Solar Arrays (a Solar Array Farm), each array in the farm is fitted with a Furl-Kit, providing independent intelligence to monitor wind speed and furl as needed.

In addition, you can monitor conditions at your solar array and furl it manually using your Solar-Array Supervisor, Web access, or iPhone app!

Easily removes snow from your solar array, too!

Besides protection from strong winds, the Furl-Kit can easily rotate your solar array to a high-angle position to dump snow from its surface... thus keeping it at full, unobstructed operating efficiency to track the sun and power your home.
